Greenlandic Indicatrix

A world map in the Mercator projection with a 6x6 grid of the true size of Greenland overlaid in pale pink, except for one, which is in red where Greenland actually is. Nearer the equator Greenland apperas smaller, highlighting how distorting this projection is — Greenlandic Indicatrix: Greenland has been in the news a lot recently. It's a big country. comments	Quite pleased with this. Yes I used the red from Greenland's flag. And I also learnt, or rather was confronted with the fact the Mercator projection stretches to infinity at the poles and so is cropped
